That's hilarious.
But the underlying message is pretty interesting. Fred Thompson is essentially another celebrity gone political. Due to that, I would say a vast majority of people don't truly know his political views, and would vote for him because they trust his image from Law and Order. I guess we'll see more and more jokes on this issue as the election gets closer.

Yep. I think it will be very interesting to see how far he gets. However, it's important to note that he does have a very distinguished political career outside of his brief tenure in Congress. Do some background checking on that.
Equally funny is the fact that the liberal media (not ALL media is liberal, by the way) is really working hard to discredit this guy, to point out the idea that he's "just an actor." I think that that ought to be watched too. If they hate him so much (already) then maybe there's more to him than we're seeing. . . . .
